Ellis & Winters partner Alex Hagan was recently interviewed by Law360 for an article entitled “6 New Technologies to Help You Win at Trial.” The article discussed the advantages of utilizing interactive graphics, 3—D scanning and print technology, touch screens, tablets, instant transcription/video playback, and holograms. In the interview, Mr. Hagan explained the impact of tablets and touch screen technology in the courtroom, and discussed the use of an iPad and iMovie during trial: “it’s just a very clean way of showing a video at trial. You can control the speed that the jury sees the video right on your iPad and have it hooked up directly into whatever the equipment is in the courtroom, or by way of Apple TV, which you can carry in with you.”
