Dixie Wells Presented 2016 Outstanding Volunteer Award by North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys

The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) recently presented Dixie Wells with the Outstanding Volunteer Award for 2016. The Award recognizes an NCADA member for exceptional contributions and spotlights those who have gone “above and beyond” in his or her contributions to the organization. Ms. Wells and other members of Ellis & Winters LLP have carried on a tradition of providing a comprehensive analysis of recent decisions of the North Carolina appellate courts on issues of interest to civil litigators at the NCADA’s Annual Meeting and Fall Seminar. These bi-annual presentations were formerly provided by Ellis & Winters partner emeritus, J. Donald Cowan, Jr.
Dixie Wells is a partner in Ellis & Winters, practicing in the firm’s Greensboro office. Ms. Wells represents clients in lawsuits involving engineering issues, complex commercial transactions, and products liability.
