The award recognizes conspicuous service by members of the bar of this state to the cause of jurisprudence in North Carolina.
“Don Cowan is an exemplary lawyer. His contributions to North Carolina’s legal community have been nothing short of extraordinary. I am proud to have practiced with him and I can think of no one more deserving of such a great honor,” said Ellis & Winters managing partner Leslie Packer.
