Leslie Packer Elected Chair of the Board of Directors for Special Olympics North Carolina

Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that Leslie Packer has been elected chair of the board of directors for Special Olympics North Carolina. Ms. Packer will serve a two-year term beginning in January 2016. She previously served on the SONC board from 2000 to 2006, as chair of the board from 2002 to 2006, and then as secretary from 2013 to 2015. Prior to serving on the SONC board, Ms. Packer was a member and officer of the board of directors of the 1999 Special Olympics World Summer Games that was hosted in the Triangle in the summer of 1999.
