Leslie Packer Elected Secretary/Treasurer of The Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the ABOTA

Ellis & Winters attorney Leslie Packer has been elected 2017 Secretary/Treasurer for the The Eastern North Carolina Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
The ABOTA’s is a national organization whose purpose is to preserve the civil jury trial, and membership is by invitation only. It seeks attorney members who display competence and integrity, to help foster trial advocacy among younger attorneys and to provide public education on the importance of jury trials. The Eastern NC Chapter of ABOTA is a 54-member chapter that upholds the goals and values of the national organization and its dedication to “Justice by the People.”
Leslie is joined in service to the Eastern NC Chapter of ABOTA by:

Leslie practices in the areas of civil litigation, focusing on products liability (including drugs and medical devices), medical malpractice, and commercial litigation. She has been part of a regional and national trial team in the breast implant litigation, and her litigation practice includes the representation of pharmaceutical companies, product manufacturers, health care practitioners and institutions, engineering companies and other businesses. She also has been retained by corporate boards to assist in internal investigations.
