Ellis & Winters attorneys George F. Sanderson III and Lauren Miller have written an article, “The New Value Exception after In re Maharaj”, for the November 2012 edition of The North Carolina Bar Association newsletter. The article focuses on the significance of a 2005 amendment to the United States Bankruptcy Code that enacted the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA).
