Stephen D. Feldman

Stephen Feldman, a partner in the firm’s Raleigh office, has been appointed as a chair of the American Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee.  The committee’s responsibilities include organizing appellate-practice programs at national ABA events, publishing books and articles on appellate advocacy, and monitoring and commenting on notable developments in appellate law.  The committee serves appellate lawyers nationwide.  Mr. Feldman has served for several years on the committee’s leadership.

Mr. Feldman’s practice focuses on complex business disputes, antitrust, and appeals.  Following law school at the University of Chicago, he clerked for the Honorable Pasco M. Bowman, II on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.  Mr. Feldman also serves on the leadership of the North Carolina Bar Association’s appellate practice section.  He is in his third year of editing Per Curiam, the appellate section’s newsletter.
