Overview

Tisha Martin is a member of the firm’s litigation group, focusing her practice on product liability, and complex commercial litigation defense. Before joining Ellis & Winters, Tisha was an associate in New York City where she represented several high-profile clients in a wide variety of industries, including insurance, technology, fashion, pharmaceutical, and financial.

A native North Carolinian, Tisha, earned her undergraduate political science degree with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Thereafter, she attended the University of North Carolina School of Law earning her J.D. in 2021. While in law school, Tisha was a staff writer for the First Amendment Law Review, an Alumni Outreach co-chair for the Black Law Student Association (BLSA), and student attorney for the Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic. Additionally, she served as a research assistant for the UNC Civil Rights Clinic and volunteered with Legal Aid of North Carolina as a pro-bono extern.   

Tisha is happy to be back in North Carolina closer to her family and friends. She is an avid musical theater fan and enjoys swing dancing.
