Alex Hagan, IADC Foundation President, Discusses New Grant Opportunities
Ellis & Winters Partner Alex Hagan is currently serving as president of the International Association of Defense Counsel Foundation. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the rule of law and access to a fair and equal justice system across the world by providing grants to like-minded organizations.
“The Foundation is one aspect of the IADC that gives all of our members an opportunity to give back, to preserve something that is so sacred to all of us, and that is the rule of law.”
The IADC Foundation Board recently approved additional funding, offering up to $125,000 to worthy recipients in the upcoming year.
All new grants and existing grants will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Alignment with Foundation mission and support of the rule of law and access to justice
- Geographic reach of work
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Helps round out overall work of the Foundation grant portfolio
- Provides volunteer opportunities for members
