Alex J. Hagan Elected Managing Partner/CEO of Ellis & Winters
Alex J. Hagan was recently elected as Ellis & Winters’s Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer. Alex is one the firm’s founders and has served on its Management Committee for several years. Before taking on his new leadership role, he served as the practice area leader for the Litigation Team.
Alex’s diverse practice focuses on complex commercial litigation including product liability defense, as well as the defense of academic institutions, religious organizations, and health care providers. He is currently the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) and was previously the President of the IADC Foundation Board.
Ellis & Winters is a litigation and commercial real estate law firm with offices in Raleigh, Greensboro, and Charlotte. Founded in 2000 by eleven members, the firm has grown to almost 50 attorneys representing sophisticated clients regionally, nationally, and internationally.
