Alex J. Hagan Inducted as Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers
Ellis & Winters CEO and managing partner Alex J. Hagan was inducted into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (The Academy) at its 2025 Mid-Year Meeting. The meeting was held in Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 23-27, 2025.
The Academy stands as the world’s foremost trial lawyer organization, dedicated to excellence, advocacy, and legal reform. Its membership includes 500 active trial lawyers in the United States and over 150 Fellows from 30 countries, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil cases, as well as prosecutors and criminal defense lawyers.
Alex’s practice includes product liability defense, as well as the defense of academic institutions, religious organizations, and health care providers. Alex also has extensive commercial litigation experience, representing software manufacturers, retail chains, and other product manufacturers in contract, trademark, and employment disputes. He has considerable jury trial experience in tort and commercial matters in both state and federal courts.
