Ellis & Winters LLP is very delighted to announce that Diane Rupprecht has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Ms. Rupprecht has extensive experience analyzing the potential impact of proposed local, state and national regulations and legislative changes on businesses.

In addition to complex commercial and business, Ms. Rupprecht focuses her practice on appeals; construction; medical malpractice defense; pharmaceutical and medical devices; and product liability. Prior to joining Ellis & Winters LLP, she worked with KB Home as Director of Local Government Affairs. Ms. Rupprecht has also served as Vice President of Governmental and Legal Affairs and interim Executive Director for the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Rupprecht will serve as Chair of the Cary Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2009-2010. Ms. Rupprecht currently chairs the Cary Community Foundation Program and Grants Committee, serves on the City of Raleigh Affordable Housing Task Force, the Board of Interact of Wake County, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Board, and the Durham Partnership for Children Board of Directors.
Ms. Rupprecht earned her undergraduate degree in anthropology from Smith College and her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
