Ellis & Winters Attorneys Participated in the 2023 Appellate Court Intern Moot Court Competition
Ellis & Winters attorneys Chelsea Pieroni and Jeff Warren participated in the 2023 Appellate Court Intern Moot Court Competition at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. They had the privilege of wearing a traditional court robe and judged the competition with Justice Ervin and other former and current justices/judges from the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.
The North Carolina Court of Appeals is the state’s only intermediate appellate court. Their judicial system has three levels of courts: Trial courts (District courts and Superior courts), the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
