Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that Kerry Boehm has joined the firm as an associate.

Kerry focuses her practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and litigation.  She represents lenders and other creditors in consumer and complex bankruptcy matters, loan workouts, foreclosures, collections actions, claim and delivery proceedings, fraudulent and preferential transfer cases, and cases involving the Uniform Commercial Code. Kerry joined the firm after serving as a law clerk for Judge Joseph N. Callaway II, Chief Judge Stephani W. Humrickhouse, and Judge David M. Warren, all of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.   Kerry earned her law degree with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she served as an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology. During law school, Kerry completed an externship with Judge Benjamin A. Kahn of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina.
