Preetha Suresh Rini

Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that Preetha Suresh Rini and Eric Goodheart have joined the firm’s Raleigh office as associates.

Preetha Suresh Rini served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark A. Davis of the North Carolina Court of Appeals for two years.  She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Richard A. Elmore of the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Preetha earned her juris doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where she was a Comments Editor for the North Carolina Law Review.  She attained her undergraduate degree with honors from Centre College.  Preetha’s practice will focus on litigation.

Eric Goodheart served as a legal intern for the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office in Pennsylvania and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Gary Gilman for the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Eric earned his juris doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where he served as a Contributing Editor for the North Carolina Law Review.  He earned his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Michigan.  Eric’s practice will focus on litigation.
