Jeff Warren Quoted Regarding Giglio Letters
Ellis & Winters attorney, Jeff Warren, was quoted on a front-page article in The News & Observer, on May 16, 2023. The article entitled “NC Releases first full-year tally of police ‘Scarlet’ letters issued due to distrust.” The story also includes a link to Jeff’s article “The Scarlett Letter: North Carolina, Giglio, and The Injury in Search of a Remedy,” which originally appeared in The Wake Forest Law Review. Jeff’s research and analysis of “Giglio Letters” has been cited by practitioners of constitutional litigation in the Third and Fifth Circuits, and Jeff recently appeared before the North Carolina House Judiciary Committee to discuss the constitutional implications of North Carolina’s Giglio database.
