Lauren Golden Named Treasurer of Wake County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division

Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that Lauren Golden has been named treasurer of the Wake County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Golden will serve a one-year term as treasurer. She is also the co-chair of the WCBA YLD’s pro bono committee.  She has served in this role since January 2014.

All members of the WCBA who are currently age 36 or under or who have been practicing law for less than five years (meaning any law graduate in his or her first five years of practice regardless of age) are automatically members of the YLD.

Lauren Golden practices in the areas of litigation, bankruptcy, and creditors’ rights. She joined Ellis & Winters in 2012 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Rich Leonard, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Golden received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Campbell University Law School. Ms. Golden graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration.
