Lenor Marquis Segal to Speak at 2015 NCBA Paralegal Division Annual Meeting

On May 8, 2015 Lenor Marquis Segal will speak at the North Carolina Bar Association Paralegal Division Annual Meeting. The event will be held at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro, North Carolina and will feature 6.0 hours of CPE credit for paralegals on an array of legal topics. Ellis & Winters paralegal Sarah Kaufman will serve as one of the event planners for the program.
Ms. Marquis Segal will present a CPE program entitled “Complying with Federal and North Carolina Rules on Electronic Discovery” designed to assist North Carolina paralegals in referencing, monitoring, and adhering to the federal and state rules pertaining to electronically stored information (“ESI”). The realm of “e-discovery” can begin to be de-mystified by examining the applicable black-letter obligations.
Lenor Marquis Segal has extensive complex commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience. Ms. Marquis Segal enjoys teaching about the challenges and opportunities of e-discovery. She has been given a rating of AV® Preeminent in Martindale-Hubbell and was recognized by SuperLawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” in business litigation in 2014 and 2015.
