Marcus Shields Joins Extended Faculty of High Point University Law School
Ellis & Winters attorney Marcus Shields has recently joined the extended faculty of the Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law at High Point University. Marcus was appointed by Mark Martin the founding dean of the new law school and former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.
When describing the faculty he recruited, Dean Martin said, “Our full-time and extended faculty represent a highly accomplished and highly diverse group, including current and former federal and state judges, distinguished legal practitioners, and seasoned legal educators who are leading experts in their respective fields.”
Marcus, a former North Carolina District Court Judge, is a trial and litigation attorney and focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes and tort matters.
