Matt Sawchak to Speak at ABA Panel on Business Torts as Little FTC Act Claims

On March 1, 2013, Matthew W. Sawchak will serve on a panel discussion about bringing business torts as Little FTC Act claims. This program will address the relationship between substantive standards and distinct burdens of proof involved in litigating a business tort claim brought under a Little FTC Act. Mr. Sawchak is a member of the leadership of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Section. He is a Vice-Chair of the Antitrust Section’s State Antitrust Enforcement Committee. He served as an editor of the American Bar Association’s State Antitrust Practice and Statutes treatise. He wrote the North Carolina chapter of that treatise in the third edition. He is also the chief editor of the current edition of the American Bar Association’s State Antitrust Enforcement Handbook.
