Michelle Liguori Moderates Panel of Global Experts for the Harvard Club of the Research Triangle
Ellis & Winters attorney Michelle Liguori, a member of the board of directors of the Harvard Club of the Research Triangle, recently organized and moderated “Effective and Equitable Drug Prosecutions: Comparative Perspectives” for the group.
The featured panelists included John Brandolino, Director for Treaty Affairs at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria; Danny Spiegel, Assistant District Attorney at the Durham District Attorney’s Office; and Ajit Joy, Anti-Corruption and Law Enforcement Consultant in Kottayam, India. The program provided insight into decision-making that affects criminal drug prosecutions, and efforts underway in jurisdictions both near and far for making those decisions more effective and equitable.
