O’Toole selected to serve on National Foundation for Judicial Excellence Board of Directors

Ellis & Winters is proud to announce that one of its partners, Leslie C. Packer, has been selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the National Foundation for Judicial Excellence (NFJE). This high honor is a reflection of Ms. O’Toole’s, and the Firm’s, tireless dedication to public service and community outreach.

The National Foundation for Judicial Excellence was established in 2004 to work closely with bar associations, law schools, think tanks and other non-profit organizations to ensure the preservation of a strong, independent and responsive judiciary.

To this end, the NFJE will provide substantive support, education programs and other tools to enable officers of the court to perform at the highest level.

In addition, NFJE will produce its own scholarly works addressing important legal policy issues in an effort to continually enhance the rule of law, judicial fairness and excellence for all who come in contact with the judicial process. Ms. O’Toole will lend her extensive talents, expertise and energy to ensure that the Board’s mission and goals are fully met. Ms. O’Toole moves to the Board of Directors after having served on the Program Planning Committee for three years.
