Partner Jamie Weiss Joins International Association of Defense Counsel
Ellis & Winters is pleased to announce that partner Jamie Weiss has accepted an invitation to join the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), the preeminent invitation-only, global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.
Jamie’s diverse litigation practice includes product liability defense primarily involving fires and water losses, complex commercial matters with a focus on trade secrets and employee mobility, and the litigation of land use and zoning matters. Regarding the invitation, Jamie said, “I look forward to continuing the personal and professional relationships I have with current IADC members and meeting new defense attorneys from around the world.”
Jamie has been a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) since 2011 and has served in various leadership roles over the last 15 years. He also served for almost a decade on the Town of Cary Zoning Board of Adjustment, including as the chair for the last two years. He received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.
