Partner, Michelle Liguori, Co-Plans “Appellate Lawyering in Context” CLE for NCBA Appellate Practice Section

Ellis & Winters partner, Michelle Liguori, along with Quintin Byrd of Q Byrd Law, has planned this year’s day-long CLE for the North Carolina Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Section.  The CLE, titled “Appellate Lawyering in Context,” brings together some of the most accomplished appellate practitioners in North Carolina and beyond, along with professors and former judges, who will look at appellate practice in context and extract tips for attendees for honing and expanding their appellate practices. The diverse group of presenters also will explore the relative lack of diversity within appellate practice and strategies for bringing about meaningful change.
