Paul Cox Presents on Recent Amendments to Federal Rules of Civil Procedure at Women in E-Discovery Meeting

On February 16, Ellis & Winters lawyer Paul Cox presented a program to the Raleigh-Durham Chapter of Women in E-Discovery. Mr. Cox’s presentation, “Complying with the New Discovery Amendments to the Federal Rules,” discussed recent amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. In the presentation, Mr. Cox outlined the recent changes to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure that are likely to impact discovery, discovery disputes, and particularly the handling of electronically stored information (ESI) in discovery.
About Paul Cox
Paul Cox focuses his practice in the areas of Complex Commercial Litigation and Appellate Practice. He joined the firm in September 2015 after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond C. Fisher on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Mr. Cox received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he was inducted into the Order of the Coif and was senior publishing editor for the California Law Review. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa.
