Stephen Feldman, Tom Segars appointed to North Carolina Bar Association leadership positions

Ellis & Winters partners Stephen Feldman and Tom Segars have each been appointed as leaders of substantive-law sections of the North Carolina Bar Association. Their appointments are for the 2019—2020 term.
Stephen is the vice-chair of the Bar Association’s Appellate Practice section. That section brings together association members who have a special interest in appellate practice, and it provides networking and educational opportunities in appellate practice. Stephen has served on the section’s leadership since the section’s inception in 2013. He is also the former chair of the American Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee.
Tom is the vice-chair of the Association’s Antitrust & Complex Business Disputes section. That section is concerned primarily with issues relating to complex commercial and business litigation matters, including matters that involve unfair and deceptive trade practices and antitrust regulation. Tom has served on the section’s leadership since 2012.
