Tom Segars Receives NCBA’s Distinguished Service Award
Ellis & Winters is proud to congratulate partner, Thomas H. Segars, who today received the “Distinguished Service Award” from the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA) Antitrust and Complex Business Disputes section. The honor was bestowed on Tom at the section’s annual CLE program held at the North Carolina Bar Center in Cary, NC.
The Distinguished Service Award was established to recognize section members who have 1) demonstrated the highest ethical standards; 2) shown a high level of professional competence; and 3) made significant contributions to the bar, scholarship, or advocacy on behalf of clients, consumers, or the public in the areas of antitrust and complex business disputes.
Tom serves as the head of the firm’s trial and litigation practice. He litigates complex business disputes, representing both plaintiffs and defendants from many different industries in a wide variety of business cases.
