Youngman to chair the NC Bar Association’s Appellate Rules Committee

Jennifer Youngman will serve as the chair of the Appellate Rules Committee of the North Carolina Bar Association, beginning July 1, 2006. The Committee, made up of appellate specialists and judges, advises the North Carolina Supreme Court on rules of appellate procedure and makes recommendations to improve the quality of appellate practice in North Carolina.
Youngman’s practice focuses on several litigation areas including construction law, First Amendment litigation, and complex commercial disputes. She and other members of the firm’s appellate practice group regularly handle appeals in the state and federal appellate courts.
