Andrew S. ChamberlinAndrew Chamberlin devotes his practice to the litigation and trial of product liability, mass torts, toxic torts, and complex commercial disputes. He serves as national product liability counsel for a major manufacturer of lighting products. He also serves as one of three national product liability counsel for a Fortune 100 company. Mr. Chamberlin also represents clients in commercial litigation, patent infringement litigation and intellectual property disputes. During 2012, he has served as lead counsel in cases pending in Texas, Wisconsin, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina, as well investigations in multiple other states. Recently, he was retained as an expert witness on North Carolina product liability law in connection with a case pending in Malaysia. Mr. Chamberlin has personally appeared before the Judicial Panel on Multi-District Litigation, the North Carolina Supreme Court, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Mr. Chamberlin is a frequent speaker on North Carolina law related to product liability actions and the admissibility of expert testimony in North Carolina courts. He has also served as an invited speaker on clinical trials for pharmaceutical products, fire investigation techniques, and the application of Federal Rule of Evidence 702 following Daubert v. Merrill Dow Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Chamberlin was named as one of The Best Lawyers in America every year from 2005 through 2012. He also has been recognized by Law & Politics, which publishes the annual North Carolina Super Lawyers Magazine every year from 2005 through 2012.
