Overview
Kaitlyn Posta is a member of the firm’s litigation group and focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. She joined Ellis & Winters after working at a mid-size, full-service law firm, based in Cleveland, Ohio where she represented clients in many areas of litigation including professional liability, commercial, employment, and financial services. Her experience ranges from determining legal strategy and drafting complex pleadings to trial preparation, mediation, and creating appellate briefs. Kaitlyn also has experience handling matters before FINRA and AAA.
Kaitlyn earned her B.S. from The Ohio State University, cum laude and her J.D. from Cleveland State University College of Law, magna cum laude. During law school, she was a Managing Editor for Cleveland State Law Review and served as a Legal Extern for the Honorable Judge Mary Jane Boyle in Ohio’s Eighth District Court of Appeals.
When she is not busy assisting clients, Kaitlyn enjoys live music, Pilates, checking out the local restaurant and bar scene, and spending time in nature. She has hiked in Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rainier National Park, and looks forward to many more adventures exploring our nation’s great outdoors.
