Ellis & Winters Attorneys Speak at NCADA 2024 Fall Seminar
Leslie Packer and Madeleine (Maddi) Pfefferle are speaking at the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) Fall Seminar on Friday, September 27th at the Embassy Suites by Hilton RTP. Leslie will present “Recent Decisions of Relevance,” at the opening general session and Maddi will serve as a panelist at the Medical Malpractice breakout session entitled “Countering Evasive Tactics in Medical Malpractice Claims.”
The NCADA is committed to enhancing the skills, effectiveness, and professionalism of civil trial lawyers, as well as anticipating and addressing issues germane to defense lawyers and the civil justice system. Members come from diverse backgrounds, practice areas, and work for firms of all sizes, private corporations, municipalities and government departments and agencies.
Leslie is a founding partner of Ellis & Winters and served as the firm’s managing partner for 10 years. She is currently a member of the firm’s Management Committee and focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on products liability including drugs and medical devices, medical malpractice, and high-end commercial litigation.
Maddi is an experienced litigation attorney who works on medical malpractice defense, regulatory compliance, and general negligence defense. She is well known as a positive, passionate, and energetic advocate for her clients.
