NCADA 46th Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar a Big Success
The North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) held its 46th Annual Meeting and Spring Seminar June 8 – 11, 2023 on Hilton Head Island. Ellis & Winters’s partner Ashley K. Brathwaite presided in her last official duty as 2022 – 2023 president of the organization.
Leslie C. Packer, firm managing partner, opened the seminar on Friday, June 9, 2023, with a general session “Recent Decisions of Relevance” an overview and analysis of recent important appellate decisions. Ellis & Winters attorney, Madeleine M. Pfefferle, presented a medical malpractice seminar session titled “Consents & Complications: Dealing with Efforts to Exclude Informed Consent Evidence at Trial” on Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Ellis & Winters has a long history of service within the NCADA, the sole organization in North Carolina exclusively devoted to providing educational opportunities, networking, and information sharing for civil defense trial attorneys.
